The fretless panga panga fingerboard not only provides an incredibly smooth performance,
but also allows players to deliver double-bass style vibrato and microtonal intonations with ease.
Its custom-made bridge is designed to accommodate the AeroSilk piezo system, infusing the
Ibanez FR with the airy characteristics of an acoustic upright bass.
A set of Bartolini MK-1 pickups are also added for times when a normal bass tone is needed,
offering a wide frequency range with excellent definition and accuracy.
