The AW70ECE features a solid sitka spruce top to provide its core tonality
and playing response. Spruce is a bright-sounding wood with a highly musical
response and a sweet balance of frequencies. It will give you both delicate
nuance and a full-bodied tone, so you´ll hear every part of your playing with
great clarity.
Solid tonewoods are more stable and resonant than laminates; the solid sitka
spruce top of the AW70ECE gives you the response and sound of a more
expensive guitar. The top is supported by an X bracing pattern which gives
it strength and enhances your projection for un-plugged performances.
